It's not the largest of updates - a measly one picture - but I've tried out a more extensive collection of techniques in this piece and I rather like the red colour scheme.
If you're wondering, and I know it's not necessarily immediately obvious, this is a picture of a pair of friends - a Zeltron (the pink one) and a Theelin hybrid (the one that's not pink) having a bit of fun with the Zeltron's specially customised R4 astromech droid.
Yes, it's lesbian. Yes, there are bits. No, it's not safe for work (unless you work somewhere really interesting).
Now: a bit on the Theelin. She has brilliant green hair, pale skin with mottled markings that, in her case, superficially resemble brush strokes (she's an 'exotic dancer' who uses that as her gimmick, 'the Painted Lady'), relatively normal hands and feet, no facial horns, and claws. The original Theelin species is an unknown as they - know what? Check out the Wookieepedia article, I'm not going to repeat the whole species history here. And here's the Zeltron article, while we're at it.
The point is she's a hybrid. All extant Theelin are hybrids. As a result their features vary enormously so the shape of her feet and hands, along with the omission of the facial horns, isn't wrong, just specific to her. That's something I truly love about the Theelin. Each individual is truly unique.
*approves of the white/purple color scheme of the droid... among other things.*
