Poll Update: Race Prefs

Well, it's about 24 days left to go and I'm pleased to see how many people have voted.  Frankly, out of the 20 people I only actually expected about... four.

Out of curiosity a few folks didn't know you can vote for more than one thing in this poll - AND you can change your vote.  Feel free to do so if you like.

How are we looking so far?

Draenei:  11 (55%)
As draenei are taking the lead along with blood elves I've decided to shift my attention from making a male gnome to making a female draenei.  So far it's not going too bad but I've hit a snag or two; I expect to have those worked out fairly shortly.  As for the draenei boys, though...  Yeesh.  That's going to be 'interesting'.

Dwarf:  1 (5%)

I really didn't expect dwarves to get any love in the poll but I'm glad they are.

Elf, Blood:  11 (55%)

Not surprised about this one and, happily, I have more blood elf models than any other type!  Lots to come.

Elf, High:  8 (40%)

More attention than I'd thought.

Elf, Night:  9 (45%)

I've several night elf models now and plenty of pictures planned.

Forsaken:  0 (0%)

HA!  Yeah, this I'm not surprised about.  I do have a couple of ideas as to how to do Forsaken but at the moment I've more living models to do and as they're getting exactly zero attention here they're currently near the bottom of my list.

Gnome:  1 (5%)

This isn't really a surprise either.  Poor Lacey.

Goblin:  3 (15%)

Hmm, goblins.  These are going to be tricky but a good challenge.

Human:  6 (30%)

I've a few options for how to do humans but I don't want them to look just like stock models.  I want them to have a bit of a more interesting feel.  This'll be an interesting one to do.

Orc:  2 (10%)

Go orcs!  Another one I have models of and unlike the gnomes and draenei I have male AND female models.

Tauren:  1 (5%)

<shudder>

Oh, I like tauren.  They're awesome.  But they're going to be a thorough bitch to get looking right without just being stock monster models I can't put any clothing on.

Troll:  5 (25%)

Mmm.  Troll girls won't be too hard to do.  Troll boys... that's a different matter.

Worgen:  4 (20%)

I've already started playing with worgen models, mostly custom-built ones, but I have a few ideas of how to make them...  Another one to stand by for.

Other (WoW):  0 (0%)

<crickets>

Other (non-WoW): 1 (5%)
Gasp!  Non-WoW?  Awesome, but... what?  There's no comment in the original thread so if whoever voted thusly could comment on what they'd like to see I'd sho' appreciate that.
